There's a sense and a serenity to what we call Vineyard style. It's not a fashion statement - it's a thoughtful mentality to the both subtle and dramatic beauty that surrounds the island. Lighthouse Properties opened in 2005, and is owned by Lisa Stewart. Our agents have decades of experience brokering Martha's Vineyard real estate home sales, arranging quality Martha's Vineyard vacation rentals.

We are members of LINK, the Martha's Vineyard association of real estate brokers, and the Cape & Islands Association of Realtors. We work cooperatively with all other firms on the Vineyard and can show you any property for sale island-wide.

Lisa Stewart

Lisa Stewart has an intimate knowledge and love of the island beginning with many happy memories as an Oak Bluffs "summer kid". She has lived on the Vineyard year-round since 1983, and has established deep roots while raising two children with her husband Bruce, a building contractor. Lisa is very active in the community, especially in youth sports, where she oversees the Martha's Vineyard Youth Basketball organization and coaches at the junior and high school levels. She loves outdoor activities including swimming, biking, golf, fishing and hiking.

In over twenty years as a real estate agent, Lisa has formed many lasting friendships with her buyers and sellers. She truly enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for the Vineyard lifestyle and embracing her clients as neighbors.

Hillary Landers

Hillary Landers grew up in Weston, Massachusetts and graduated from Skidmore College with a history/government major and a minor in business. Hillary was captain of her college tennis team, became a certified tennis professional. Upon graduation, Hillary went through General Electric's Financial Management Program and traveled internationally as a corporate auditor and financial analyst.

Hillary has been an Edgartown broker for over twenty years and is a specialist in waterfront and downtown properties, both in sales and rentals.

In September of 2006 Hillary suffered a severe spinal cord injury which resulted in a fifteen month hospitalization. Hillary was lovingly welcomed back by the Vineyard community and greatly enjoyed returning to her office. Hillary currently swims at the new YMCA.

Abbe Burt

Abbe Burt is a 12th generation islander who has lived on the Vineyard full-time since 1974. She has a deep love of the Island and an extensive knowledge of the history, the people and the special places on the Vineyard. She has 18 years experience as a real estate broker and has worked extensively for land conservation and affordable housing groups as well as on various town committees and boards. In her free time you can find her playing golf, tennis, or on the beach.

Jen Hawkins

Jen O'Hanlon is a Massachusetts native who first came to the Island during her summers in college while attending the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. After graduating, Jen lived in Boston and worked in the hospitality industry.

Jen never forgot her love for the Island and in 1997 moved to the Vineyard to make it her home. She lives in Edgartown with her husband. In her spare time, she takes pleasure in horseback riding and is active with the Martha's Vineyard Horse Council.

Jen has over 12 years of experience in both sales and rentals on Martha's Vineyard. She has also worked in Sarasota, Florida and is currently licensed in both Florida and Massachusetts.

Kerry Quinlan-Potter

Kerry Quinlan-Potter was born in Montreal, Canada and has spent the summers on the Vineyard since childhood. She moved to the Island permanently to marry her childhood sweetheart in 1997 and has been a resident of Oak Bluffs since that time. As an advertising executive in Canada, Kerry's background provides the business experience as well as a marketing edge that complements her career in real estate.

Kerry spends her free time outdoors, hiking Vineyard trails and walking the Island with family and friends. As a mom to four year old Chesca, Vineyard life is full, active and extremely satisfying.

Trish Lyman

Trish Lyman is a graduate from University of Vermont, and an avid skier and snowboarder. Trish has experienced life in many interesting places including Stowe, Aspen, New York City and Greenwich, Connecticut before choosing to settle on Martha's Vineyard. "The biggest reason I chose to work in the ski industry was so I could have summers off to spend on the Island!"

When away from the office, Trish can often be found following her canine companion, Flash, through the streets or beaches of Edgartown. Having lived on the Island most of her life, Flash will be sure to "retrieve" the perfect new property or buyer for your property! They make a great duo!

Rhea Cobban

Rhea Cobban has been in real estate on Martha's Vineyard since 2002 handling all aspects of sales and rentals. She brings real estate experience from her previous hometown of Killington, VT, where she managed the rentals division of Century 21 Contemporary Associates. Rhea moved to Martha's Vineyard originally in 1992 following a weekend trip out to visit friends. She fell in love with the Island way of life and the people it attracted. Outside of the office she can be found showing her twin boys Alec and Quinn the simple pleasures of Island life from sailing, fishing and scuba diving to weekend ski trips back home on the slopes of Vermont!

Ashley Spinney

Ashley Spinney is a native of Martha's Vineyard and a 2010 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston where she majored in Sociology. She's been at Lighthouse Properties since the doors first opened in 2005 and oversees all areas of operations in the office. Ashley is an indispensable part of our team and most likely her friendly voice will be the first you hear when calling Lighthouse. She's active in the local community with many children's organizations.
